Yaw Stability Research of the Distributed Drive Electric Bus by Adaptive Nonsingular Fast Terminal Sliding Mode Control

Due to the high center of gravity distributed drive electric buses, it is crucial enhance their stability and sliding mode control (SMC) an effective method vehicle yaw stability. However, traditional SMC needs know upper limits interference term in advance select a better switching gain obtain effect, which impossible for control. To solve existing problems, improved adaptive nonsingular fast terminal (ANFTSM) presented bus. An uncertainty introduced as variable controller obtained by parameter adaptation without knowing any information. In addition, real-time, neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) weighting factor surface adjusted. A co-simulation Matlab/Simulink–TruckSim performed verify effectiveness algorithm under two typical conditions. The results indicate that proposed can follow ideal value improves handling chattering weaker. Furthermore, requires fewer actions, also reduces motor torque variation.
